Power supply
Energy is the source of motivation for movement or potential movement.
Whether the power switch is on or off, some form of power source is always present in any connected device.
There are various sources of power, but generally there are one or two types:
Kinetic energy: Something that moves with energy
Potential energy: Energy stored in things that are not in motion
Power plant
Examples of protective power units:
Equipment protection
Power off
A mechanical stop, such as a pointer or valve
Lock, can provide automatic protection for human error
But if you try any of the following, any power safety device may fail.
Do not omit a power safety lock, or let your colleague do so
Do not blindly rely on power safety facilities
