b) Key Retaining Feature: When the shackle is open, the key can’t be removed.

1. Isolation application and approval
An application by the applicant for isolation operation of the intended equipment, installations and systems;
The quarantine certificate approver shall review the quarantine plan and approve the implementation of quarantine.
2. Isolation identification
The isolator shall analyze the equipment, facilities and devices to be quarantined, mark them on the P&ID and mark them on the isolation certificate.
3. Implementation of isolation
To be done by the designated isolator;
Electrical isolation
Isolation of instrument signals;
Valve isolation;
Lockout tagout;
The lock key of the isolation point shall be controlled by the isolation certificate approver.
4. Fill in the isolation certificate

5. Entry into force of isolation certificate
After the quarantine inspection, the approver shall issue the quarantine certificate, fill in the date and time, and sign.
6. Work on isolated equipment
The effectiveness of isolation shall be confirmed prior to work;
Ensure that isolation is not accidentally disturbed or dismantled during operation.
7. Release of isolation point
After the completion of the operation, the isolator shall, upon application, release each isolation point one by one under the condition of ensuring safety, and the isolator shall fill in the date and time of the release on the isolation card and sign his name.
8. Cancellation of quarantine certificate
After the isolation point is removed, the isolator shall notify the approver of the isolation certificate that all the isolations have been removed and the approver shall return to the normal working state. The approver of the isolation certificate shall write the date and time in the cancel column of the isolation certificate and sign his name.
9. Temporary release and re-quarantine
The job applicant shall temporarily remove the isolation if the equipment test operation is involved. Procedures for temporary release and restoration of quarantine shall be performed in accordance with this standard 6.2-6.8.
